While at Lee University, Chloé focused on Spanish and pedagogy, spending time in Peru, Colombia, and Guatemala. During a gap semester between high school and college, she traveled to Peru where she volunteered as an English teacher at a nonprofit supporting students living in extreme poverty, and began learning Spanish. Chloé is currently a high school English Language Arts teacher and English department head at an international school in Quito, Ecuador, where she has lived for the last four years. She has an advanced proficiency in Spanish and will continue her role as a high school English Language Arts teacher in the fall. Aside from teaching, Chloé enjoys crafts, cooking, and is teaching herself to sew. She has previously led Putney programs in Ecuador.
