While at Lee University, Chloé focused on Spanish and pedagogy, and spent time in Peru, Colombia, and Guatemala. Chloé took a gap semester between high school and college in which she traveled to Peru where she volunteered as an English teacher at a nonprofit, and began learning Spanish. While in college, Chloé was awarded her university’s promising future educator award. She has also presented at language and education conferences in Guatemala and Colombia. Chloé is now a high school English Language Arts teacher at an international school in Quito, Ecuador. Chloé has an advanced proficiency in Spanish and will continue in her role as a high school English Language Arts teacher in the fall. Aside from teaching, Chloé has taught ceramics and painting lessons in the past and loves all things creative.
