After finishing her undergraduate studies in Health Sciences at Skidmore College, Cristina moved to Madrid where she has been for the last 11 years. She is a bilingual, bicultural, dual citizen of Spain and the U.S. and since moving to Madrid, Cristina has worked extensively in education and sport. She has spent years teaching foreign language, got her masters in teaching Spanish, worked in study abroad for Boston University, lead summer high school programs in Spain and Ireland and most recently has been working professionally in lacrosse, first as the Director of Development for Spain Lacrosse and since then as a Sport Development Manager for World Lacrosse managing the grants program and serving as the Regional Officer for Europe and the Americas. Through lacrosse, Cristina has been able to develop the sport all over the globe and work in places like Costa Rica, Brazil, Colombia, the UK and extensively throughout Europe, even competing for team Spain in the European Championship in 2019 in Israel. Aside from travel and sport, Cristina is a very adventurous eater and loves exploring the gastronomy of the places she visits, is an avid hiker and loves languages, currently deciding which to take on as her third.
