Gianluca Mantovano
Gianluca’s passion for automotive engineering began in high school, where he co-founded a High Mileage Vehicle Club and served as President, leading the team to achieve an impressive 140 MPG. This experience confirmed his career path, leading him to the University of Wisconsin-Madison specifically for its prestigious Formula SAE Racing program. During his time there, the team made history by winning the 2007 World Championship, an achievement that further fueled his drive for automotive excellence. Upon graduating in 2011, Gianluca joined Ford Motor Company in Michigan. While he began his career focusing on internal combustion engines, his technical expertise and leadership led to several management promotions. Today, he plays a key role in the enterprise by overseeing Electrical Architectures, helping navigate Ford’s technological evolution. Outside of his professional endeavors, Gianluca is an avid sailor who enjoys the thrill of racing. He is also a passionate traveler who seeks out new cultures and global experiences, though he always finds time to appreciate the simple perfection of a good cup of espresso.
