Mylia Chambers
During her time at UC Berkeley, MyLia worked on environmental health issues related to food systems, animal-based foods, and agricultural workers. She has spent time living throughout Asia, specifically in Thailand and China, teaching English. As an educator in physical education and health, she enjoys providing a space for students to learn and grow through physical activities. In addition to teaching physical education, she organizes sports tournaments and curriculums for teachers and schools. MyLia is a native Hmong speaker and is proficient in Thai. During her spare time, she enjoys gardening, caring for her chickens, playing volleyball, and snowboarding.
