Paul Castricone
As an undergraduate, Paul focused on international relations and European studies, and was fortunate to spend time studying at Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute in Italy and at Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata in Argentina. Since then, he has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Latin America, and has come to appreciate the importance and value of being introduced to new cultures, perspectives, and experiences. While living in France, Paul taught English at a French secondary school in Capbreton, and he is currently teaching middle school Spanish in Buffalo, New York. He teaches Italian at the Italian Center of Buffalo and serves as a board member for the Buffalo Peace House, an organization dedicated to providing safe housing, meals, and services for asylum seekers in Western New York. Paul is fluent in Italian, French, and Spanish, and has previously led Putney’s Exploration Italy & Greece, and Exploration Switzerland, Italy, France, & Holland programs.
