Zulmaris Garcia
While at the University of Central Florida, Zulmaris focused on clinical psychology and teaching English as a foreign language. After completing her undergraduate degree, she moved to Madrid, Spain, where she now teaches English at a bilingual primary school through the Spanish Ministry of Education. During her time in Spain, she has backpacked across 11 countries in Europe. When she isn’t teaching or traveling, Zulmaris spends her free time shooting and developing her analog photography. Her passion for art follows her during her travels and she makes it a priority to visit at least one gallery or museum in every city she visits. Zulmaris is a native Spanish and English speaker from Puerto Rico; she has previously led Putney’s Language Spain program. This fall, Zulmaris will return to Spain to begin her master’s with Condé Nast College in fashion image and styling.
