Hello, hello!
We have split up and begun our biking tour… Coming at you LIVE from Heemskerk, Holland, are Sammi, Mia, Liam K, Grady, Olivia, Luciana, and Ash, AKA The Wheelers! We are currently sleeping in a literal castle (like the princes and princesses we are) and enjoying biking (even if it’s sometimes in the rain…) past horses, sheep, and windmills throughout the countryside.
After exploring the castle grounds today, we will take off on our next adventure tomorrow to Egmond!
Adventuring on,
The Wheelers

Hey, hey,
This is Avi coming at you from Egmond, Holland, with our group, The Eight Spokes (even though there are nine of us), including: Phoebe, Shanin, Theia, McKenna, Conrad, Noah, Thomas, and Liam B.
We had a long bike ride today through the beautiful countryside; it took us about four hours. We had to take a ferry, cut through farms, and got poured on, but it was all such an adventure. Once we got to our hostel and had dinner, we biked to the nearby town and encountered a big street fair by the ocean. Some people bought things, some hung out on the beach, and the boys serenaded the small-town residents with their awesome karaoke skills.
We do it all again tomorrow. Onward to Heemskerk!
Signed,
The Eight Spokes

The Wheelers — Day 2
Coming at you AGAIN are the Wheelers! We just spent a beach day in Egmond, and it was just what we needed to relax and feel the *little* bit of sun! We’ve had some yummy lunches on this bike trip through Holland and have spent some wonderful afternoons exploring new towns, playing volleyball and soccer with the locals, and maybe even playing a few rounds of pool and air hockey. Overall, we’re having a great time biking through rural Holland and its dune reserves! Tomorrow, we get the band back together and are so excited to meet back up with the rest of the group.
Peace and love,
The Wheelers

The Eight Spokes — Day 2
Today, we enjoyed a nice, leisurely bike ride from Egmond to Heemskerk. We took our time, ate a nice lunch in the town halfway through, and then got to our hostel by the late afternoon. Oh, and did I mention our hostel tonight is a literal castle… complete with a moat? It’s pretty darn gorgeous!
Once we got back, everyone took a long nap and woke up groggy and hungry for dinner. After dinner, we walked into town, but unfortunately most things were closed, so we just got ice cream and walked back.
Tomorrow is a new day and a new bike route toward Haarlem!
Signed,
The Eight Spokes
