Becky Cardona
While studying social work at Loyola University Chicago, Becky had the opportunity to study abroad in destinations including Rome, Italy. There, she spent her days learning about Italian social work policy in the classroom and her afternoons exploring Rome. Building on this passion for travel and mentorship, Becky led a Putney middle school group to Italy and Greece during the summer of 2025. Currently, Becky works as a school social worker, where she is dedicated to supporting students’ academic and personal growth, taking great pride in helping students overcome challenges and in creating a positive, nurturing environment for success. Passionate about mental health, Becky strives to make a meaningful impact by offering guidance to promote emotional well-being. Outside of work, she focuses on improving her Spanish language skills to connect with more students and colleagues while expanding her cultural understanding. This fall, Becky plans to continue her work supporting students in schools, as well as continuing to be a lifelong learner and traveler.
