While at the University of Auckland, Eunice focused on child and family wellbeing and youth advocacy. After graduating, she spent several years living and working in Aotearoa, New Zealand, walking alongside children, teens, and families through social work roles focused on safety, wellbeing, and advocacy. She has also volunteered internationally with a nonprofit in the Philippines and the United States, helping rebuild homes and schools after natural disasters. Eunice now works as a case manager for a domestic violence nonprofit in Southern California, supporting survivors as they rebuild stability and coordinating life-skills workshops to uphold their holistic wellbeing. Outside of community projects, she enjoys photography and surfing longboard waves. This fall, she plans to travel through Asia to backpack and continue supporting disaster relief projects with nonprofit organizations.
