Tyler is a high school Spanish and French teacher in Tennessee with a strong interest in language learning and cultural exchange. He earned his M.A. in Pamplona, Spain, where he deepened his understanding of language acquisition theory and teaching methods. Outside the classroom, he enjoys running and studying German. Tyler has previously led Putney’s Middle School Language Spain program, and this will be his second time leading Putney’s Thailand Service program. Tyler is Thai American, proficient in Thai, and excited to help students deepen their understanding of Thai culture and service work.
